Would you like a quick, go to recipe for making a healthy breakfast that doesn't take forever?
Then read on my friend,
I love making Quinoa Porridge, which is Gluten Free. It's not only delish, it's healthy and filling.
There are so many recipes that have oats in them, so this is a great alternative for those of us that can't tolerate oats.
You will need
3/4 Cup Quinoa Flakes
3/4 Cup Milk (I use Almond Milk)
Water
Honey
Cinnamon Sugar
Fruit of Your Choice (whatever you have on hand is fine)
To Make
Grab a saucepan and put the Quinoa Flakes in with the milk.
Stir on a low heat until all the liquid is absorbed. This does not take very long at all so just keep stirring. You can add a little extra milk or water at this stage if you would like your 'porridge' a little more liquidy.
Sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on to the Quinoa and stir in.
Remove from the heat and drizzle with a little honey.
Serve with Fruit and enjoy. Yum!
