Hello and Welcome!

Thanks for sticking around and wanting to find out a little more.

After my first daughter was born, I was sick for a very long time.  Way too many Doctors didn't believe me that something was wrong.  I knew my body and I knew something just wasn’t right. I could barely drag myself out of bed in the mornings.  Ugh, it was utter BS.

I would fall asleep at my desk at work and constantly had stomach cramps, nausea and severe bloating.

I persisted for close to a year, trying to get an answer.  Many Doctors later, trips to the Emergency Room and pulling my hair out thinking I was crazy, I finally had an answer.

In the Summer of 2009, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and I actually cried with relief right there in the Doctors room, knowing that there was light at the end of the tunnel.  I was actually happy to hear that there was a reason I had been feeling so awful for so long.

Now I had the answers to feeling better … well, not quite!  I was sent to a Dietitian who was absolutely clueless when it came to living Gluten Free.  He didn’t help me at all and I spent the next few years, stumbling along, trying to heal my body and improve my overall health, learning everything that I could.

Because of the lack of support I received, I made the decision to become a Health Coach so that I could help other women to improve their health. This decision became life changing.

I now coach women and teach them about Bio-Individuality.  I teach you to Nurture your own Unique Body.

I specialise in helping women living with Celiac Disease to increase their energy levels by teaching them ways to focus on a healthy lifestyle and when needed, to lose weight and keep it off.

As a Health Coach, my mission is to improve the health and ultimately the happiness and lives of my clients. From lifestyle changes right through to helping you improve your relationships with others, taking care of number one has the most wonderful flow on effect.

I'm married to my gorgeous hubby who works FIFO (which is fly in fly out in the mines - 1 week away and 1 week home).

I'm a Mum with 3 crazy kids who keep me on my toes. We have a teenager who doesn't pay me enough to be her Uber driver, a 5 year old boy (need I say more?) who has non-celiac gluten sensitivity and a 3 year old daughter who I can't turn my back on. Yikes. So I know what it is like to be busy every single day. I also know how important it is for us as women with an autoimmune disease to put ourselves first occasionally.

I'd like to personally welcome you to our community.

About my Training

I received my training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program.

During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.

My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.

When was the last time you talked with someone about your health and received the personal attention you deserve?

It’s rare for anyone to get an hour to work on their nutrition and goals with a trained professional.

As a Health Coach, I create a supportive environment that will enable you to achieve all of your health goals. I have studied all the major dietary theories and use practical lifestyle coaching methods to guide you in discovering which approach works best for you.

Most approaches to nutrition dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods. I coach my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.

No one diet works for everyone.

I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.
