Gluten Free Cauliflower Pizza

Updated: Jul 2

Everyone loves pizza, but this pizza is a little different, the crust is made with cauliflower instead of flour. Who would have thought that a Pizza Base made mostly out of Cauliflower could be so delicious. This Pizza base is Gluten Free, Grain Free, Vegetarian and so, so yum. This would make a great healthy family dinner.

For the Base you will need

3 Cups Cauliflower 3 Cups Grated Cheddar Cheese (hmm yes this is an indulgent Pizza for us that have to eat GF all the time) 3 Eggs 1 Tablespoon Dried Herbs (Oregano is great or Mixed Herbs) 2 Garlic Cloves, Crushed

For the Topping you will need

Spring Onion, finely sliced Tomatoes, finely sliced Mushrooms, finely sliced Feta Cheese, cubed Roasted Pumpkin, cubed Roasted Beetroot, cubed Sundried Tomatoes Fresh Basil Leaves Asparagus

To make the Base

Place Cauliflower florets in a Thermomix or blender, blending a small amount at a time to a rice like consistency Once all Cauliflower is prepared, microwave for 5 mins in a ceramic or glass bowl Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and combine with a wooden spoon Spread half your mixture out on to a Pizza Baking Dish (I recommend using Baking Paper to avoid sticking) The base should be around 1 cm thick Bake in oven or Pizza Oven at 430 degrees F / 220 degrees C until golden Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly For your Pizza Topping, place all your ingredients on your pizza and bake until golden brown

Enjoy your pizza but you will need to eat with Cutlery as this isn’t your traditional pizza base.
